I tried doing a NFC transaction with the Ingenico iPP320 using the Vantiv test account. I am using triPos Cloud. It worked well except the cardHolderName field is missing. I understand not returning a card name for manually entered transactions, but I don't understand why the name is missing when it is a contactless transaction. Since nothing is returned, I don't have a cardholder name to put on the credit card slips or to display for settlements. Will the name be included in future updates?

The reason this is occurring is because the CardholderName is passed in with the Track1 data in a request; whereas, the PAN is within the Track2 data. When using a NFC transaction only the Track2 data is transmitted so there is no way to retrieve the CardholderName since the Track1 data is not passed. This may change with the addition of EMV Contactless; however, at this time a contactless transaction will not include this information.
