Our company is exploring the possibility to have their website redirect users to a payment gateway hosted by Vantiv (we're currently an Element/Vantiv customer) to meet current PCI compliance standards. The user would need to be able to "tokenize" their credit card on a Vantiv-hosted page, from which would then be redirected back to the company's e-commerce site. Is there a Vantiv solution to accommodate this redirection process?
Aaron,
I'm the Leader of Technical Publications for the Vantiv eComm LOB, so I can't claim knowledge of everything being worked on across the company. Having said that, I'm pretty confident that we do not offer a fully hosted checkout page option at this time. When we decided on the iFrame (hosted fields) option one of the reasons is that it affords the merchant considerably better control of the overall look and feel of the page as well as the informational content. Although we occasionally get questions, such as yours, about having fully hosted pages, once merchants look at the iFrame option and understand the reasoning, they universally find it meets their requirement, especially with some recent enhancement.
Take a look at the following:
iFrame Enhancements Demo Page
Our Vantiv O.N.E. developers’ website offers a demonstration of the new iFrame enhancements for the Vantiv eProtect form using a light, modified responsive stylesheet called Skeleton, and a browser normalizing CSS.
