We are trying to get a Vx 820 PIN pad to work with Aloha/Connected Payments but keep getting a PIN pad error message. Any ideas?
Can you please expand on the error you are getting by providing any error codes or messages. Are you getting the error during the connection process or after when you attempt to run a transaction?
It just says PIN pad error. We believe it might be because the PIN pad needs to be encrypted with NCR keys as well as Vantiv keys. It already has Vantiv keys, dont know if we can download NCR encryption remotely.
You also need to make sure the TID is set up with NCR as the ISV. Also, you'll need to complete the VAR sheet and send to NCR so they can load your MID credentials.
