The ISV and/or merchant must choose which method they will use for eCommerce eProtect integration.  They can choose either the JavaScript or the iFrame method. This will be different then what is used for Apple Pay.

eProtect will capture and vault card number, cvv, and EXP.  All other data must be captured by the code.  Test cards for

 

Internal checklist

  • OmniToken provisioning/set-up is required for eProtect
  • eProtect account must be provisioned with correct OmniToken Roll Up Id (contact: Joe Canning, Melissa Green, or Denisse Lopez)
  • ISV must be issued eProtect credentials and documentation
  • ISV must integrate and certify with eProtect for eCommerce

Vantiv_Enterprise_eProtect_Integration_Guide_V1.9: This guide provides information on integrating eProtect, which, when used together with Omnitoken, will reduce your exposure to sensitive cardholder data and significantly reduce your risk of payment data theft. It also explains how to perform eProtect transaction testing and certification with Vantiv.

 

Page 90 of “Vantiv_Enterprise_eProtect_Integration_Guide_V1.10.pdf” has an eProtect checklist that should be used before going live.

Vantiv_eProtect_Technical_Assessment_Paper_10_13_15 Final v2: Vantiv engaged Coalfire Systems Inc., a respected Payment Card Industry (PCI) Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) company, to conduct an independent technical review of Vantiv’s eProtect solution (formally known as Vantiv PayPage). Vantiv eProtect provides card-not-present data security for merchants needing to reduce their risk by completely eliminating the presence of cardholder data from their systems.

 

Integrating to eProtect you will be given credentials and a RollUpId to the Pre-Live system for certification integration testing.
